The User Information System (SIU), the tool for predicting the availability of rotating parking spaces in blue zones that incorporates ApparkB application since last July, has received recognition from the European Parking Association (EPA) as it is a finalist in the category of on-street parking projects of the European EPA Awards 2017.

The awards ceremony took place in the framework of the 18th Congress of this association that was held in the city of Rotterdam between 20 and 22 September. In addition to the project presented by Barcelona de Serveis Municipals, S.A. (BSM), had submitted nominations for the best on-street parking projects, the Italian city of Castel Gandolfo and the Dutch city of Amsterdam.

The European Parking Association (EPA), founded in 1983, is the umbrella organization that brings together the different parking associations across Europe with the aim of facilitating cooperation between professional parking organizations in different countries, and the exchange and mutual support of professional experiences related to parking and urban mobility.
