Expansion of the regulated parking in the District of Sarrià – Sant Gervasi
As of July 8, signalling work will begin on the implementation of the extension of the regulated car park in the District of Sarrià - Sant Gervasi. These actions will take place in the area of AREA residents called Zone 15 and are a response to the suggestions made by the residents through the different channels and the request made by the District of Sarrià - Sant Gervasi itself.
Expansion of the Zone 15
This action will regulate parking on the roadway between carrer del Císter, passeig de Sant Gervasi, plaça de Alfons Comín and Ronda de Dalt, on the one hand; and between carrer de Immaculada, carrer de Bellesguard, carrer de Sant Joan de la Salle until Plaça Bonanova, íncluding carrer Ribagorça, carrer d’Alcoy, carrer d’Horaci and carrer de les Planelles, on the other hand, so that neighbors have priority when parking and will become part of Zone 15.
The places that are regulated with this expansion are 340 new Green places and are identified with green paint. This means that, in order to prioritise the parking of residents, the vehicles of non-residents in Zone 15 may only be parked for a maximum of two hours within the regulation hours indicated by the corresponding vertical sign. Also, 27 new Blue parking spaces, 30 new Moto parking spaces and 12 new DUM parking spaces will be created in this zone.
Information for the residents
All residents of this expansion who own a vehicle registered at home will be able to enjoy the possibility of parking as a Zone 15 resident. Thus, as of the second half of July, residents of those streets incorporated into the regulated parking system will receive at their homes an information letter about their resident's area and an information bulletin about the use of the parking space as residents.
Getting the tickets
To obtain on-street parking tickets as a resident, it is recommended that users use the free mobile application ONaparcar residents. With this application you can obtain tickets from one day and, at most, until the end of the year. As it is a digital ticket, it can be checked safely and in real time by the warden's device and, therefore, it is not necessary to use a parking meter or to place any paper ticket in the vehicle.
Implementation schedule
The planned implementation schedule is as follows:
- 29/06 – 07/07: Vertical pre-signalling on the street indicating the dates when it will not be possible to park to carry out the signalling work on each street.
- 08/07 – 21/07: Horizontal signalling (painting of squares on the road), vertical signalling (installation of vertical regulation signs) and installation of parking meters, according to dates established for each street.
- 13/07 – 17/07: Postal delivery of the information letters to the neighbours included in the expansion of Zone 15.
- 03/08: Activation of the new places to the extended zone of Zone 15.
