Ampliació de la zona d’estacionament regulat Zona 21
21/05/2025

Starting 22 May, signage works will begin for the expansion of Regulated Parking Zone 21 in the La Marina neighbourhood, Sants-Montjuïc District.

Expansion Zone 21

This action will regulate on-street parking within the boundaries formed by Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, C. de la Química, Pl. de les Matemàtiques, C. dels Ferrocarrils Catalans, C. del Cisell and Passeig de la Zona Franca.

The new regulated spaces within these boundaries will become part of AREA’s Zone 21. (view map)

Furthermore, all residents of the Marina de Port neighbourhood will be able to use the newly incorporated parking spaces.

The regulated spaces added with this expansion include 515 new Green zone spaces, marked with green paint. This means that, in order to prioritise resident parking, vehicles not registered in Zone 21 may only park for a maximum of two hours during the regulated times shown on the vertical signs, and must pay the corresponding Green area rate based on the vehicle’s environmental badge.

Additionally, the following new spaces are planned:

  • 28 new Blue zone spaces

  • 256 new Motorbike spaces

  • 41 new DUM (Urban Goods Delivery) spaces

Information for RESIDENTS:

From 9 June, new green zone spaces will be enabled in Zone 21, identified with the corresponding signage. If you are a registered resident of this area and the holder of a vehicle registered in Barcelona, you will be able to park using the resident rate that applies to your vehicle’s environmental badge.

The tickets are digital and can be validated in real time by enforcement agents.
