Regulated parking in the beach area opens for the 2025 season
18/03/2025
From April 1st to September 30th, 2025, regulated parking spaces in the beach area of the Sant Martí district will be available to the public.
For the 2025 season, 319 Blue Zone parking spaces will be available, identified with blue paint:
83 regulated parking spaces on Icària Avenue, in the section between Joan Miró Street and Llacuna Passage.
89 regulated parking spaces on Salvador Espriu Street, in the section between Frederic Mompou Street and Llacuna Passage.
147 regulated parking spaces on Litoral Avenue, in the section between Joan Miró Street and Jonquera Street, along Litoral Avenue.
The Blue Zone rate applied to these spaces will be Rate B, and the cost will vary depending on the environmental label assigned to each vehicle by the DGT.
The regulation schedule for these spaces during the 2025 season will be from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday to Sunday, including public holidays, with a maximum parking time of 2 hours. It is important to remember that within this timeframe, obtaining a valid parking ticket is mandatory.
Regulating parking in the beach area aims to allow the highest number of people to benefit from parking in public spaces near urban beaches. Therefore, once the maximum parking time indicated on the corresponding vertical sign is reached, drivers must vacate the space so that another user can park.
Obtaining parking tickets
To obtain parking tickets for these regulated spaces, users are encouraged to use the free SMOU mobile app. This application allows digital payment for regulated parking in Blue and Green Zones in Barcelona and other municipalities in the Metropolitan Area, providing a digital ticket that can be securely and instantly verified by surveillance devices. This eliminates the need to visit a parking meter or return to place a ticket on the vehicle’s windshield. Additionally, users only pay for the actual minutes parked.
Activation schedule:
• 01/04/2025: Activation of regulated Blue Zone parking in the 319 beach area spaces.
• 01/10/2025: Deactivation of regulated Blue Zone parking in the 319 beach area spaces.
