The smou app continues to evolve and presents a new version that updates the current image of the application and improves its user experience. With this update, smou adapts to the new mobility needs of citizens and offers a more complete and personalised app.

The 'apparkB' service is now called 'Parking meter'

From now on, the service to pay for regulated on-street parking in Blue and/or Green parking spaces through the smou app changes its name to ‘Parking meter’. If you already had the service active, you can continue to use it as usual. If not, you can activate it in the 'Services' section on the side menu of the app.

A more intuitive and personalised design

The design of the app has been updated to create a more intuitive, simple and personalised experience. In the new version you will find:

• Personalised map by service: show only the service you want to use on the map.
• Sorting services according to your usage preferences: sort the services according to your preferences so that the ones you use the most are just a click away.
• Define your favourite service: mark your favourite service and it will appear by default on the home screen every time you open the app.

More than 550,000 people already use the app to get around Barcelona and its Metropolitan Area. Since its launch, smou has been an application that is constantly evolving to adapt to new mobility needs and to offer a better experience to citizens. With this objective in mind, smou will continue to evolve and, in the next versions, the app will present important new features.
