The general schedule is from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Although there may be exceptions in some areas.
Objective
The spaces regulated as Urban Freight Distribution (DUM) are intended to facilitate loading and unloading operations of goods on public streets, in close proximity to the destination point.
Authorized Vehicles
Only vehicles intended for the distribution of goods may park in DUM.
If the vehicle has been modified, it is necessary to regularize its classification with the Directorate General of Traffic (DGT) in order to be able to park in DUM spaces in Barcelona.
Parking Conditions
Parking in DUM spaces requires prior validation through the corresponding telematic application.
The maximum parking time is generally 30 minutes. However, specific conditions may apply for certain trades.
For vehicles classified as Zero Emissions by the DGT and authorized to park in DUM spaces, the maximum parking time is extended by an additional 30 minutes beyond the limit indicated on the vertical signage of each space.
Number of places
Currently, the city of Barcelona has approximately 8.710 Urban Freight Distribution (DUM) spaces within the fully regulated AREA zone.
