From 1 April to 30 September 2026, regulated parking spaces in the beach area of the Sant Martí district will be made available to the public.

For the 2026 season, a total of 316 Blue Zone (AREA Blava) parking spaces will be provided, clearly marked with blue road markings:

  • 85 regulated parking spaces on Avinguda d’Icària, in the section between Carrer de Joan Miró and Passatge de Llacuna.

  • 89 regulated parking spaces on Carrer de Salvador Espriu, in the section between Carrer de Frederic Mompou and Passatge de Llacuna.

  • 142 regulated parking spaces on Avinguda Litoral, in the section between Carrer de Joan Miró and Carrer de la Jonquera, along Avinguda Litoral.

The Blue Zone (AREA Blava) tariff applied to these spaces will be Tariff B, with rates varying depending on the environmental classification assigned to each vehicle by the Spanish Traffic Authority (DGT).

During the 2026 season, these parking spaces will be regulated from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday to Sunday, including public holidays, with a maximum parking duration of 2 hours. Please note that, within this time frame, it is mandatory to obtain a valid parking ticket.

Parking regulation in the beach area is implemented to ensure that the greatest possible number of users can benefit from on-street parking near the urban beaches. Accordingly, once the maximum parking time indicated on the relevant signage has been reached, the space must be vacated so that it can be used by another driver.

Ticketing

To obtain parking tickets for these regulated spaces, users are encouraged to use the free mobile application SMOU.

This app enables users to pay for regulated parking in Blue and Green Zones across Barcelona and other municipalities within the Metropolitan Area digitally. It generates a digital parking ticket that can be securely verified in real time by enforcement devices, eliminating the need to use parking meters or return to the vehicle to display a ticket on the windshield. In addition, users are only charged for the actual parking time used.

Activation schedule:

• 01/04/2026: Activation of Blue Zone (AREA Blava) regulated parking in the 316 beach-area spaces.

• 30/09/2026: Deactivation of Blue Zone (AREA Blava) regulated parking in the 316 beach-area spaces.
