This new evolution has a variety of benefits for users:
1) You only pay for the length of time parked.
2) It does not involve any risk as you do not need to calculate the length of time you will need when parking your vehicle.
3) You can view your parking history.
4) You do not have to find a parking meter or wait while others are paying.
5) You avoid problems if the parking meter is out of order.
6) You have the option to customise alerts sent to your phone when you are reaching the maximum hours allowed as per the parking area street signs.
7) You avoid the risk of committing an infraction. Under the traditional system, you may receive a penalty charge when the time on the ticket has expired. With the new system this will not happen.
8) You no longer need to carry change or bank cards to be able to park your vehicle.
9) Once you have paid using your mobile phone, you don’t need to go back to your car to display the ticket.
10) You can make the payment from the comfort of your own vehicle. Gone are the days of walking to the parking meter with an umbrella in one hand and your bags and wallet in the other.
