As of 1 October 2026, the special parking regulations in the beach area of the Sant Martí district will come to an end. The following changes will apply:
- The 85 regulated parking spaces on Avinguda d’Icària, in the area between C. Joan Miró and Pg. Llacuna, will remain AREA Blue spaces with tariff B, but the regulated hours will be from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
- The 89 regulated parking spaces on C. Salvador Espriu, in the area between C. Frederic Mompou and Pg. Llacuna, will become AREA Green spaces, with tariff B and regulated hours from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
- The 142 regulated parking spaces on Av. Litoral, in the area between C. Joan Miró and C. de la Jonquera (on Av. Litoral), will remain AREA Blue spaces, with tariff B and regulated hours from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday to Sunday, including public holidays.
In all cases, the final regulated parking fee will vary depending on the environmental classification assigned to each vehicle by the DGT. Please note that, during regulated hours, it is mandatory to obtain the corresponding parking ticket, which can be issued for a maximum of 2 hours.
Obtaining parking tickets
To obtain parking tickets in these regulated spaces, users are advised to use the free SMOU mobile app.
The app allows users to pay digitally for regulated parking in Blue and Green Area spaces in Barcelona and the municipalities of the Metropolitan Area, obtaining an electronic ticket that can be securely checked in real time by enforcement devices.
There is therefore no need to use a parking meter or return to the vehicle to place the ticket on the windscreen. In addition, users only pay for the actual time they have parked.
01/04/2026: Regulated Blue Area parking activated in the 316 spaces in the beach area.
30/09/2026: Regulated Blue Area parking deactivated in the 316 spaces in the beach area.
